Project Metroidvania

Project Metroidvania was my attempt to recreate a Metroidvania taking heavy influence from original games that defined the genre, such as, Metroid and Castlevania. I decided to build the game from scratch and create each element of the game during development, these elements were divided into 5 major milestones - Level Design, Art/Lighting, Character Code, AI and Game Framework. 

This was made for my FYP (Final Year Project) during my third year at Staffordshire University.
